Senior Spirit Day when we all wore black (I ditched). I think that showed what we were made of. Hanging, banging, and slanging cane (HA!). I really didn't like it at all.
Birth of kids. They are what I live for now. Jumping out of a perfectly good plane. Riding a mountain bike down from 14,000 ft and passing cars on a highway on my honeymoon. Ah, good times.
Hi everybody. Litterally just moved to Houston, TX. (8-11-07). I guess I won't be there for the reunion. Good luck to everyone. Married 12 years. Lived in Naperville for the past 9 years. I'm into cycling, Mountain bikes, Snowboarding, Just outside stuff, I guess I'm still extreme (or I'm still trying) it hurts alot. I've been working around all facets of construction for the past 13 years. Now I'm selling blueprint reading and estimating software. Man is it HOT down here. I can't wait till winter when it's 70, YES!!!! |

After graduating from U. of I. (Champaign), I attended the Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington. There I met my husband and earned my J.D. We settled in the Indianapolis area and have been living in Carmel for the past five years. We have two children: William, who is almost eight, and Catherine, who is six. I currently work part time as a lawyer for the Indiana Court of Appeals, which leaves me plenty of time to volunteer at the children's school. Dave and I enjoy playing with the kids, whacking tennis balls, coaching soccer, boating, and being with family and friends. We also like eating at Steak 'n Shake, "where Daddy works" as general counsel. Although family obligations will likely keep us from the reunion, it looks like it'll be fun. Best wishes to all.

Far too many for there to be one favorite. Parties, parties, parties. Track and cross-country. Prom weekend. Best friends--Jennifer Skimel and Wendy Engelke.
So many ... isn't life grand? But number one must be every special day I share with my beautiful boys who are now 5 and 3.
I can't wait for the reunion. Next month John and I will have been married 10 years. We have Luke, 3.5 yrs., and Leo, 15 mos. Those boys are the absolute light of my life. I hope they have all the wonderful things we had in high school and that they are perfect angels and don't get into trouble! I never would have predicted this, but we are Chicago Southsiders, now for 8 years. We moved to Beverly to be near John's work when we moved back here from California. Our favorite things to do are to show the boys new things as often as possible and anything that involves family time.

There are too many to list, but I'd have to say skating at the Westmont Roller Rink is at the top.
(I know some of you are laughing)
Of course having children has been the greatest experience ever. Watching them grow is amazing. The differences in my two children's personalities keeps me on my toes. My son is creative and out going and my daughter is very stubborn and wants to do everything on her own. She is going to be my Er child. She's not afraid of anything.
After high school I worked in the banking field and stayed with the same bank for over 14 years. One night while being out with some friends I ran into Tom Sherman. For those of you who don't know, Tom is a Downers North 1987 graduate also. We have been married for over 10 years. If you would of told me in high school that I was going to marry Tom Sherman someday, I would of never believed it. Fate is really strange sometimes. Tom and I have two children . Our son Jake is 5 1/2 and our daughter Resse is 20 months. After the birth of our son, I was a stay at home mom for about 3 years. I decided to go back to work and I totally changed fields. I now work in the ER at Good Samaritan Hospital. Tom and I lived in Downers Grove for 8 years and then moved to Naperville about two years ago.We love the outdoors and enjoy spending time with our family and friends. In fact we just returned from a vacation with my best friend Joanie Helfert(Lentz) and her family. We went to stay with our other friends Debbie Fay (Counsol) and her husband Phil who own a campground in northern Wisconsin. Actually Tom and I still see and are friends with many people from high school. Unfortunately we will not be attending the reunion, but will be at the football game on Friday. Hope to see everyone there. |

It's actually the movie Wierd Science
The all black Winter Sports pep rally. While they don't think we showed school spirit, we definitely showed we were the tightest knit class in the school.
Other than my kids, it would be refereeing the 2001 NAIA National Championship Football game in Tennessee. I got to escort the visitor's captains with their honorary captain to mid-field for the coin toss. The honorary captains for both teams were NYC fire fighters who had been at the World Trade Center three months earlier.
Speed version: Graduated U of I '91, married Judie in '92, daughter Lili in '98, daughter Scarlett in '03. Live in Channahon, which is just southwest of Joliet. Work in Lisle. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.

Hello everybody! I can't wait to see you at the reunion. I can't believe its been 20 years. Here's the last 20 years in a nut shell. After graduation I went to work for various companies. In 1994 I married a boy I had known since I was 14, Rick Pence. In 1995 I had our daughter Danielle. In 1996 we moved to Florida where Rick Jr. was born in 1997. In 1998 we moved back to Illinois. February of 2000 my husband Rick passed away. Since then my time is spent working, raising my children and working out. I hope everyone is doing well and I look forward to seeing you at the reunion. |
