All the parties following the friday night football games! Killing those brain cells has made the rest a blur.
Wedding Day, the birth of my 3 kids and the many memorable family vacations!
I want to thank you all for a memorable night at the reunion! I had forgotten how much fun you all are! I realize now that 20 years has been too long....Cheers! Mike & Kim |

Since graduating college, I have lived in Barcelona, Spain, in Munich Germany and Chicago. Now, I have lived in California for over 11 years and I (still call myself a Chicagoan (and a Cubs fan). I have 2 kids who are now in High School and in LA that means 2 different High Schools one for my engineering son and one for my musical theatre artist daughter. I left Crate & Barrel after working at 6 different locations over 18 years and am now the General Manager of the Holly Hunt LA showroom at the Pacific Design Center. I am lucky that Holly Hunt is based in Chicago because I am able to come "home" a few times a year.

Favorite memories would have to be Athenas.
It's been way to eventful to simply pinpoint a single memory. But it was pretty cool to run into Mary Ruscitti-Kennedy again and reconnect.
Wow, looking back on my message I posted before our 20 year reunion and so much has changed.
First, I must laugh at myself. I was adamant last time that I would NEVER move back to Chicago to endure cold winters. And of course a few years later I did, and spent another 5 years up there. Thankfully we were able to return to Florida again and I am toasty warm as I write this in January!
Eric and I also got married since our last class reunion, closed down our tech consulting firm and I’ve jumped headfirst into being a full fledged geek!
I plan on getting back up to Chicago for the 30th reunion. So please have a warm fall in 2017!
Still growing older but not up! |

Wow! It's hard to believe that 20 years have passed. I went to Northwestern for undergrad and spent my junior year in England. I had a great time and made lifelong friends. I moved to San Francisco in my early 20's and taught elementary special education in Oakland for several years which was an incredible learning experience for me. I got my master's in special ed. while teaching. Although I loved living in the Bay Area, I moved to New York to work for the Fresh Air Fund, a not-for-profit in New York City that sends kids from low-income families on summer vacations. I eventually went back to school for Toy Design. Since then I've designed games for Nickelodeon, LeapFrog, Sesame Street, and Disney. I've recently started my own toy company and not-for-profit which combines my interest in urban education with toy design. The toy company is called Lindie & Friends. The not-for-profit is Crafty Kids and involves teaching kids toy design in New York City and abroad (website coming soon). I'm setting up the same program in Kenya and I hope to add a new site each year in a different country. The kids will communicate through the website and eventually meet to design toys together. The whole process of starting both my company and a not-for-profit has been very exciting. I'm in Chicago often since my family is there. I think about moving back but I love living in New York and would find it hard to leave. Unfortunately I won't be able to make it to the reunion. I'll be in Prague for vacation and to check into starting Crafty Kids there. It's been so interesting to read about what everyone is doing. Thanks to everyone on the reunion committee for pulling this together!
