Lots of memories to choose from....the PowderPuff Football game comes to mind, we were very rough on the Juniors.
My wedding and the births of my three children are at the top.
Stan and I have been married for over 18 yrs now. Our oldest son Jonathan just turned 16 and is driving now! Our younger two are getting big also, Matthew will be 12 and Olivia just turned 6 and just started Kindergarten. Both my boys are still into baseball. Jonathan plays for Hinsdale South HS and Matthew is involved with the Darien Demons tournament team. Both are awsome pitchers! Couldn't be prouder. I gave up coaching baseball, but Stan coaches our younger son Matthew. Olivia is into gymnastics right now, but is showing interest in baseball/softball....wonder why? I am still working at the same place, Scribes Inc. as a graphic artist and Stan is still at the Willowbrook Post office. I count our blessings as we are all healthy and Stan and I both have jobs. I wish everyone good luck and happiness! |

Driving to School with Amie Wold in her car...late almost every morning. First period study hall in the Library with Jana Rudi, Karen Berger, Viki Mickas and our gang. Rides home from school with Collen Fleetwood in the Dart! GREAT CAR! And all the great times with my buddies: Viki Mikas, Craig Carter, Heather Haine, Amie Wold, Jana, Gail Smitt, Kara Lesondak..The Chamber Choir gang etc. I LOVED high school; i think we were lucky to grow up in the community we did!
Living in Manhattan/NYC during 9/11 is probably the most unforgettable experience, and definitely one i wish i could forget. The best was meeting my partner Mark and times spent with my friends in NYC and family in Chicago. These are the happiest memories. My work has brought me to many countries around the world and most of Europe and that has been a fantastic experience and education; i hope it has made me a more tolerant, understanding and accepting person.
I have been working for the last 29 years in the fashion modeling industry as an Agent/ Manager/ Scout mainly in NYC, and now working as an International Scout for IMG Models Worldwide www.imgmodels.com. Home for me is now Portland, OR and it is nice to be back in the USA; although I still travel to Europe often for work. I have been with my partner, Mark, for 16 years and we were married in February of 2006. I return to Chicago about two times per year; usually at Christmas and during the summer. If you ever make it to Portland, OR look me up! Lots of great skiing, hiking etc..

There are so many! Driving to school with Viki Mickas, Gayle Szykowny, and Erica Smith in my huge boat of a car...we all sat in the front seat...Viki worked the accelerator and I steered and worked the brake. I'm sure Gayle and Erica were just happy to get to school alive! Playing assassin with Viki Mickas as my partner(does anyone else remember playing that?) and chasing down people to shoot them. Running through backyards while getting chased by the Woodridge police for "t-p"-ing someone's house (Bethany Stephens, do you remember this?). DGN hockey games. Intramural floor hockey (our team rocked) and beating Cammie Granato's team (Olympic gold medalist--our only claim to fame). So what if they were all a year younger than us? Parties at my house--Kristen Halsted, I'll drink, smoke, and argue about the Bible with you any day...Jana Rudi, you let my dog run away (again!)...and if my Dad comes downstairs, hide the beer!
Getting married to my husband, John, in 1993, and having our two children--Andrew in 1996 and Mariana in 2000. Life is good!
I can't believe it's been 20 years! We're not THAT old, are we? So many stories, so little time. Can't wait to see everyone.

Hanging out with Meagan McAuley and Colleen Smith. Movies at the Tivoli. Running into school almost every morning with Meagan and Colleen because I drove and was always running late...
College was a fantastic experience, but hands down marriage and children is the best thing that's happened in my life.
Those of you who took German 101 and 102 with me will get a laugh out of this. I absolutely hated German class. It was the ultimate "when am I ever going to use this" class. Well, I married an Austrian and now I live in a home where some German is spoken every day. I'm far from fluent, but I've come a long way, Herr Jontry.
Wow - I've had so much fun reading these classmate updates. I'm posting an update on my life, but I won't be at the reunion because of a previous commitment. |
